As someone who absolutely loves fitness, I am so excited to share with you all the amazing health and mobility benefits that come with practicing barre!

The type of workouts we do at Pure Barre truly are some of the best full-body exercises you can do that are both low impact and high intensity. Not to mention, barre is excellent for toning your core, enhancing your overall muscle strength, and improving your posture.

Here are five of my favorite reasons you should incorporate barre into your workouts.

  1. The Community Aspect — I absolutely love meeting new people and learning about their journeys. Pure Barre is full of so many like-minded people who are interested in improving their health and wellness. Getting to make so many fulfilling connections with others has been unbelievably rewarding.
  2. Low Impact & Effective — Pure Barre focuses on body weight resistance and stretching all while being low impact. It’s perfect for those who want to improve their mobility or want to focus on lighter weights.
  3. Creating Long-Lean Muscles — All of Pure Barre’s exercises rely on isometric movements that tone and build strength by expanding and contracting muscles. This helps to create long and lean muscles while improving balance, posture and poise.
  4. Always Challenging. Always New. — Just like the dance of ballet, there are infinite movements and exciting exercises in Pure Barre. No two classes are ever the same. Variety and excitement always!
  5. Mental Challenges — As someone who considers herself a self-starting entrepreneur with a lot of drive, I always look for ways to challenge my mind and body. Pure Barre does just that!! It drives me to reach farther and push myself harder to feel a deeper stretch. Believe me, after every class, I feel inspired, motivated and refreshed!!

The most important thing to remember about Pure Barre is to always go to your maximum and then challenge yourself to go a little farther. Believe in yourself and trust your body. Remember, you are stronger than you know!!!
